Beavers worked hard tonight, dusting and sweeping Holy Trinity Church, as part of their My World Challenge badge work. It was nice to be back in church again and feel that we were doing something to say thank you for the Remembrance Sunday service last weekend which so many of us had attended.
When we'd finished work Reverend Shrine took us on a special ' behind the scenes' tour of the church and we saw things we hadn't seen on school trips. One highlight was seeing inside the chest which holds the beautiful altar fronts. Also, we now know where to look to find faces in the leaves on some of the carvings around church. Try to find one next time you visit.
